Australian Commonwealth Coinage 1910-2010

This stamp shows the profile of King Edward VII on the obverse of the coin, designed by George William de Saules. King Edward VII died just two months after the first shipment of florins and shillings reached Australia. His image was replaced by that of his successor, George V, on the 1911 coins.
